What is Usenet?
Usenet is a network for sharing discussions and files in topic-based groups. You open it with a newsreader app, which connects through a Usenet provider such as Ngroups.
A network, not a website
Usenet is not a single website or service. It is made up of servers run by different providers. These servers exchange posts so people can access the same content.
Ngroups gives your newsreader access to this network. The newsreader is the app you use to browse groups, read discussions, and download files. Compare newsreader options.
